We build custom sheds, garden structures, chicken coops, pergolas, and more for homeowners in Firestone. Need site prep, a foundation, or landscaping? We do that too. Or we build the structure and you handle the rest. Your call.

What We Build for Firestone Homeowners

Garden sheds, modern sheds, chicken coops, pergolas, playhouses, and custom structures. All designed for Colorado weather. All built by our crew.

local knowledge

We know Firestone.

Panorama Sheds is based in Longmont and works across the northern Front Range. Firestone is 9 miles east of us, about a 13-minute drive on Highway 119, and we are out there regularly. Firestone has grown fast: newer subdivisions like Saddleback, Booth Farms, and Barefoot Lakes anchor most of the building activity, and many homeowners are thinking about what to add to the backyard now that the house is finished. Firestone allows up to six chickens on lots over 4,500 square feet with a permit, which makes a real coop a smart addition.

why panorama

What makes this different from buying a shed online.

One crew handles your project from the first conversation to the finished yard.

Built for your yard.

Every structure is designed around your lot, your sight lines, your aesthetic. The end result looks intentional, not dropped in.

One team, start to finish.

Our crew does the work. No sales reps, no random subcontractors. One team from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.

More than a shed company.

Site clearing, grading, pad prep, the build, and landscaping around it when we are done. Or just the structure. We meet you where your project is.

Built for this climate.

Heavy snow, intense sun, wind, and wild temperature swings. Materials and methods chosen for the Front Range, not a catalog photo in a mild climate.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a permit for a shed?

Firestone follows the 2018 International Residential Code. Detached one-story storage sheds under 200 square feet, on grade, with no utilities, generally do not require a building permit. Anything larger or anything with electrical or plumbing does. Firestone enforces its own development code on top of the IRC, including specific setback and zoning standards by neighborhood. The town also requires a separate backyard chicken permit if you are housing chickens. The homeowner files the permit. We give you everything needed to file. Verify with the Town of Firestone Planning and Development Department at 303-833-3291.

How much does a shed cost?

Our structures range from $450 for a dog house to $18,500 for the Traditional Farmhouse Garden Shed. Custom projects with site work vary based on what you are building, how big it is, and what preparation your site needs. We will give you a specific number after we see your property.

How long does it take?

Most custom projects take 2 to 4 weeks from start to finish. Permitting timelines add to that and vary by city. We give you a specific timeline upfront and keep you in the loop throughout the build.

Do you handle site prep and landscaping, or just the structure?

We do both, and we do either one alone. Most shed companies show up, drop the structure, and leave. We handle site prep, pad pouring, foundation work, the build, and landscaping around the structure when you want it. One crew, start to finish. If you already have a contractor handling site work, we just build the structure. Your call.
