We are a Longmont shop building for Longmont yards. Old Town blocks, Prospect lots, Mill Village builds, and rural-edge parcels along Hover and 75th. Site prep, foundations, the structure, and landscaping. One crew. One phone number.
Garden sheds, modern sheds, chicken coops, pergolas, playhouses, and custom structures. All designed for Colorado weather. All built by our crew.
Panorama Sheds is based here. Our shop sits on East Rogers Road and our finished sheds are on display at Hygiene Feed and Mercantile, just up the road in Hygiene. We work across every part of town.
Old Town and the West Side, where setbacks are tight and the structure has to fit a 1920s craftsman without looking out of place. Prospect, where larger lots and modern homes want clean lines and a finished look from day one. Mill Village and East Longmont, where new construction means flat sites but sometimes a tight HOA review. The rural-edge parcels along North 75th, Hover, and the airport corridor, where bigger projects make sense and we can pour a real concrete pad without fighting an inch of access.
We have built for Longmont families for years. We know the Longmont Building Inspection office, the city's setback rules for accessory structures, and the easement maps that catch out-of-towners. We know which neighborhoods need engineering stamps for a foundation and which do not. If you are in Longmont and you have a project in mind, you can probably drive past three of our builds on the way to ask us about it.
Longmont requires a building permit for any one-story accessory structure over 120 square feet. Smaller structures do not need a permit but should still be anchored against wind. Setbacks are five feet from side and rear property lines for accessory structures, and the structure must sit behind the front facade of the house. Easements take precedence: nothing can sit inside an easement, even a permit-exempt shed. Foundations for structures over 120 square feet need engineering stamps. The homeowner files the permit. We give you everything you need to do that. Verify the current rules with Longmont Building Inspection at 303-651-8332.
Longmont projects cover our full range. Our smallest builds, like a dog house or firewood shelter, run $450 to $950. Chicken coops are $2,450 to $3,250 with delivery included since you are right in our backyard. Our signature garden sheds with TimberTech decks and pergolas are $16,500 to $18,500 fully built. Custom projects with site work, foundations, or landscaping vary based on the property. We give you a firm number after we walk the yard, usually within a day or two of the visit.
Longmont projects typically take 2 to 4 weeks once we start. Permits add to that depending on the project size: structures under 120 square feet skip the permit, larger ones need 3 to 5 weeks for review. Because our shop is here in Longmont, we move fast on local jobs. Materials and crew are always close. We give you a specific timeline upfront and keep you in the loop throughout.
Longmont projects often start from raw ground. We handle the site clearing, grading, crushed granite or concrete pad, and the build itself, plus landscaping around the structure when the work is done. One crew, start to finish. If you already have a flat pad and just need the structure, we will build on what is there. Your call. Either way the yard looks better when we leave than when we showed up.
